The Arlington Farm: The Early Years, A Timeline
As with any holistic farm setting our land is an ecologically diverse habitat. Part of this diverisity can be found in the small pastures scattered around the farm. Home to a variety of beneficial insects, birds, and mushrooms our pastures play a vital role retaining nutrients which we then recycle through our rabbits. To reduce compaction on the pasture, no heavy machinery is utilized to harvest the grass: fresh forage is hand scythed for animals on the farm to consume.
